Colette Urban has performed and exhibited her work throughout Canada and in Europe. She has been an instructor in art at the University of Victoria (1983), Emily Carr College of Art and Design (1985-88), and the University of Saskatchewan (1988-89), as well as a visiting artist at several artist-run centres. She is currently teaching at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
