Charlotte Townsend-Gault is a writer, critic and co-curator who lives on Bowen Island, British Columbia. She has written extensively on photographic practices and other aspects of contemporary art for catalogues and periodicals published across Canada. She was co-curator of the Land, Spirit, Power First Nations at the National Gallery of Canada in 1992. Currently she is preparing her doctoral dissertation in social anthropology for publication.
