Marcel Odenbach was born in Cologne, West Germany and continues to reside there. He has had many solo exhibitions in Germany and been involved in numerous group exhibitions, video installations and performances throughout Europe. He has produced many videos with interesting titles including I always had it too good during my childhood but nevertheless I consider my upbringing the most serious punishment of my life, Even in Italy all roads do not lead to Rome, The Caribbean wild duck or my invention did not fulfill its promise, and The goalie’s anxiety at the penalty kick.
