Émile Morin is based in Quebec City where he is coordinator of Le Nom de la Chose, Avatar’s new media and electronic arts lab. Morin has been involved in the artisitic direction of Les Productions Recto-Verso since 1982 and has coordinated a number of events including La Parallaxe and Le Corps Amplifié. With a particular sensibility of the structure and working of events and time basis, Morin has worked with many different artists originating installatins and productions across a wide rancge of multi- and interdisciplinary art forms. Un Paysage/Eine Landschaft/A Landscape is a multi-disciplinary performance, conceived by Morin, which began development in 1996, with Morin working on all aspects of video and sound. The final version was shown at the High Performance Rodeo festival in 2000.
