Sue Goyette grew up on the south shore of Montreal and now lives with her family in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. Her work has appeared in numerous periodicals and her first collection of poetry, The True Names of Birds, is forthcoming (Brick Books 1998). Goyette is now working on a second manuscript of poems.
