Sarah Davies Cordova, Assistant Professor of French at Marquette University, is the author of Paris Dances: Textual Choreographies in the Nineteenth-Century French Novel (1999). She is currently working on "autobiography" and the dancer of the Romantic ballet as issues of identity in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Francophone literatures.
