Susan Hannon, Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. T6G 2E9.

Education: B.Sc. University of Guelph (Marine Biology), 1974; MSc. University of Alberta (Population Ecology) 1978; PhD. University of British Columbia (Ecology), 1982.

Research Interests: Avian ecology, conservation biology, mating systems, population regulation, impacts of habitat fragmentation on birds, dispersal, reproductive strategies, source-sink dynamics, role of corridors in landscape connectivity, landscape ecology. Collaborating with Yellowstone to Yukon initiative to establish protected areas for birds.
Worked on grouse, raptors, swallows, woodpeckers, parids and other passerines.
Teaching: Ecology, Conservation Biology, supervises 5 graduate students.
