Testimonials
”My sincere thanks for all of the great work in organizing the dinner for my executives in the Three Ravens Restaurant. This was the first night that the group all gathered together for dinner. On the second night, they had reservations at a restaurant in town, but the talk among the group was ‘could they go back to the Three Ravens again on the second night!’ My group travels extensively and is used to eating out. Please pass along my sincere thanks to everyone who made this event a success, but especially to Chef Hegnauer, who I know had a part in ensuring that this meal was a first class affair!”
— Sheila Bernardi, executive administrator, Petro-Canada, June 2008
“The Banff Centre is a wonderfully scenic environment to hold an annual retreat. It is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre to enjoy the surroundings, yet close enough to walk to town should you so desire. The new Vistas Dining Room offers a majestic view of the mountains, and has a wonderful selection of meals. It is truly a mountain retreat!”
— Maureen Nicholson, Calgary Public Teachers, September 2007

Excerpts from John Gilchrist’s CBC Radio Food Review from Friday, July 3, 2009
“If you are looking for an out-of-the-way place to dine in Banff, off Banff Avenue… If you want that great view and food to match, I’ve got a place for you. It is the Three Ravens at The Banff Centre.
“Now talk about a view. You are already part way up Tunnel Mountain and now you are in a glass-wrapped dining room on the fourth floor. It’s beauty that goes on forever.
“High-quality ingredients prepared as well as at any place in the Bow Valley led by Chef Beat Hegnauer and his very talented chefs. He has some apprentices and some sous chefs who have knocked down awards around the world for their talent.”
Calgary Herald Review
“The Banff Centre now has a high-end dining room with a fabulous view to match the food. Three Ravens makes a great spot for dinner if you’re attending a Banff Summer Arts Festival event. The white asparagus soup is outstanding.”

Journalist Giancarlo La Giorgia’s review
“Romancing the Rockies” in the June 14, 2008, edition of The Ottawa Citizen is a rave. “[O]ne of the most amazing table-side views of Banff — the town and nearby mountains seem within arm’s reach — afforded by the impressive space’s high all-glass walls.”
