Faculty leads redesign
on Leading for
Results program

Diana Theodores, PhD and Leadership Development faculty, recently spent time launching the redesign of our Leading for Results program, along with our program director, Elaine Broe, our executive director, Nick Nissley, and the Leadership Development team in our Leadership Learning Lab.
The irony --  that they needed to have concrete “results” by the end of the process -- was not lost on the team as they collaborated to redesign the Leading for Results program ! In fact, Diana and the team literally engaged in the program experience as they worked through various design stages. The team wanted to design an engaging program that will provide participants with the practical experience of examining a challenge in order to attain results. “This program is about taking an individual challenge and moving towards organizational results,” Diana said.. The program is designed with the goal to move the participant through various stages in order to create a plan to implement results.

The concept of using movement as a metaphor is quite familiar to Diana. Originally from New York, Diana worked internationally for 25 years as a theatre director, choreographer, author, broadcaster, university lecturer, and facilitator. With her sharp ideas, deep experience, and enthusiasm, Diana offers an irresistible invitation for each of us to connect, enable, and inspire in our communication and personal performance.

Diana passionately believes that inspirational models from the performing arts are powerful and relevant skill sets for 21st century corporate vision, leadership development, and personal potential. This is confirmed by the many transformative moments she has had the privilege of sharing with top executives.

There are still spaces available to explore your leadership challenge with Diana and the rest of the faculty on the Leading for Results program, which runs November 15 – 20, 2009.

Take the opportunity to turn your personal leadership challenge into organizational results as you learn to gain support from stakeholders, and effect change by designing and implementing a plan for action.
